This was a decent hotel out of the main hotel area of Cancun. There is a public beach across the very busy street. There are no coffee makers, mini fridges, or microwaves in the room. There is a Starbucks on site and a hotel restaurant that serves mediocre food.

Front desk service was pretty terrible. Our flight was unfortunately delayed 8 hours, so we got to the hotel at 7am and when we got there the front desk said that they had sold our reservation. Both my husband and I are fluent in Spanish and we explained that we had paid for the reservation 3 months in advance and they had no right to sell our reservation. They told us we could get another room but we would have to wait until 3pm for check in. We discussed it for another 10 minutes until they finally checked our reservation confirmation number and discovered that our reservation hadn't been sold after all and that we could check in. Super frustrating. The wifi also was not working most of the time we were there. Besides all that, the room we stayed in was pretty nice! The view from the hotel is amazing. They have a pool but it seems like they close it after 8pm. They have a decent gym facility too.

It was beautiful but I don’t think I’ll come back.
Pros: The staffs were great and attentive. Our room had a view and it was beautiful. Easy access to the pool. Cons: The room had a weird scent when we first arrived. The air conditioning wasn’t working properly. No refrigerator, no hot water for tea or coffee and no iron.

When I booked the room I made sure it's a view room of the lagoon, however upon arrival I was told it was the City view. Therefore I contacted Expedia and requested clarification. The front desk staff was so unfriendly. It started with the Doorman who did not bother to assist us even just simply opening the door he watched me came down the vehicle and asked me "What?" Instead of Welcoming me. Very rude Doorman. After seeing another young man who came up to me asked me what happened. He immediately helped us with our luggage's and offered to hold it since we arrived early. I do not recommend this hotel to tourists, the food sucks and very expensive. They also advertise hot kettle in the room or coffee yet they did not provide us any. I was told that we had to purchased this downstairs.
