"Very nice hotel"
A little pushy with trying to get gust to sign up for the time share. They gey you at check in. My advice would be to just decline if you dont want to give up 2 hours of your stay. But over all, a fantastic hotel/resort. They will feed you and bring you drinks until you say when ! Had one little situation with the front desk giving some other people a key to our room while we were sleeping. After a conversation with the front desk that night and the next morning, everything was fantastic.

"Best vacation we've ever had. Very relaxing."
This was our 1st time doing an all-inclusive vacation. We'll def do it again. It was our 20th anniversary and was just the two of us. The staff took care of everything and were friendly. I felt safe, even when we left the resort to go on excursions. The rooms were very nice-robes, slippers, full bottles in the mini-bar, Chi toiletries and hairdryer/flat iron. Bed and pillows were comfy. The resort is very big & spread out, so when we finished eating and didn't feel like walking, we asked someone outside the lobby to take us to our room on one of the many golf carts they have. Pools were amazing-huge. Swim up bars, tiki huts with swings, canopy beds by the pools, lots of umbrellas. Restaurants were fabulous also. Def recommend the Brazilian steakhouse. Buffets were clean & well kept. Spa was beautiful-I had a massage and it was great. This resort is not in 'hotel row', with all the huge buildings, it's about 15 minutes away. (and only 3 floors) It feels a little more secluded and we liked that. About 15 minutes from airport also. The ONLY negative we had is the beach & ocean was FULL of seaweed. Workers came thru in the mornings with tractors to pick it up. There were spots you could walk out to where it was clear and it was just a couple feet deep, clear water. This was the most relaxing vacation we've ever taken. It was nice to not worry about paying for anything, just walk in a restaurant at any time and eat whatever you want then leave! :-)

"Great first-time trip to Cancun!"
This place is huge and it took a full day to get our bearings and learn where everything is. My husband and I upgraded to VIP and it was worth it. We had so much fun on the lagoon lunch cruise included with our upgrade! We really liked having the VIP Club Lounge on the 8th floor for breakfast and cocktails. It was quiet and the food was good. Isaac took great care of us. He is outstanding. Having a personal concierge to make our reservations was great too. Nicole and Sandy were so helpful and easily answered any questions. The first night we ate at Wayne's Boots. It was fun watching people try to ride the mechanical bull but our steaks were not good so I don't recommend that restaurant. My favorite restaurant was the French, Sans Souci. The steaks were delicious and the atmosphere was very upscale. We sat by an oceanfront window at dusk and had an amazing experience. Juan was fantastic! This restaurant is adults only with a dress code. Great ambiance. The Mexican restaurant was really good and I loved the decor. Jose took care of us and we enjoyed our dinner very much. My husband's favorite restaurant was Fisherman's. The mahi mahi was good. The Italian restaurant was ok. Then there was La Palapa. That was where most people had breakfast lunch & dinner. Big variety, buffet style but with chefs at various stations cooking made to order items. Great view of two of the pools. There were a lot of kids here since this is a family resort and everyone seemed to be having fun.

"Great price, facilities, hospitality and location"
After reading several reviews earlier, I decided to try this hotel for my first trip to Cancun. I would say, I am more than happy with what I got. The hotel is great and the staff is quite customer focused. The all-inclusive part is really worth as they have great food and the chef can customize the preparation based on what you want. They have enough bars to make you walk the least to get your fav drink, no matter which part of the hotel you are and what you are doing. The beach is clean and the ocean waters are close to the compound, so you don't have to walk too much. We enjoyed releasing the baby turtles with our own hands several times during our one week stay, for which you would have otherwise paid elsewhere. There was an attempt to sell timeshare-like package but its all optional and no pressure. My special call out to their entertainment staff who did an excellent job in singing, dancing, and all other sorts of activities arranged free for the guests every night. The place is in the Hotel zone but not in that part where most of the malls and street shops are (like Riu, Pallazo, etc.) The disadvantage about this is that you got to take a public transit (very reliant and affordable) if you have to go anywhere outside the hotel. The good part is that, it is away from the noise and the typical marketplace crowd, so you can relax and enjoy your stay at the hotel. One really does not require to step outside the hotel as you can spend a whole week enjoying the hotel facilities like pools, bars, beach, night shows, spa, massage, etc. Tips are ofcourse optional, but do tip if you loved the service as the staff is really helpful and they try their best to give you the best comfort. In a summary here are the great and not so great things about the hotel - GREAT: a) Good beach, b) 4 pools, c) Courteous staff, d) All rooms (except lagoon viewing suites) have a full or partial ocean view, f) Good location, g) All-inclusive, h) High quality drinks I) Kid and family friendly j) Entertainment programs. NOT SO GREAT: a) A little away from malls, b) No shuttles to the city/malls c) No Mexican food option for night (day-time - you do have good Mexican options)

"Got what we paid for!"
All ritmo is a nice, quiet, friendly, family resort. It has all that an all-inclusive resort in Mexico has to offer. Is it top notch, no, but was it bottom of the barrel, no. I have stayed at a top of the line resort before and noticed the differences in food, choice of booze, and updates to the rooms, but is that worth the price tag?? After staying a week I would say no, with a group of 11 people with 4 kids (7-9yrs old) this place was a gem! My kids loved the water park, the night shows, the ocean, and the ability to get a smoothie or chocolate shake at the bar whenever they wanted, without having to wait for 10 min. I would just warn, upon first impression there are a lot of things that are outdated, but they are working hard to change that and have done a great job, if you want the *new* rooms you have to upgrade, also wifi isn't included, but is about $100/device for the week.

"Beautiful Resort across from the mall in Cancun. "
Our family of four stayed two nights here. Loved the pools and beach. Loved the fact that I had a washer and dryer in the unit to do some laundry. Friendly staff. I would stay here again. The only downfall is that it was tough to find enough lounge chairs for our family each day.

"Beautiful scenery and great food"
My husband and I went for our 20th anniversary and loved everything including the food and views. The only negative thing was the air conditioning never cooled down the room. We like our house about 75 degrees and we were sweating while we slept. If this issue was fixed I would LOVE to go again. Staff was amazing.
