I visited this location on 2/11/24, stayed for 4 nights with my husband, 21yo daughter, 17 yo daughter, 12yo son and 1 year old grand daughter. This resort had something for all of us! Drinks were good, food was better than i expected, pools were clean, plenty of seating, and most importantly the staff was very kind and helpful. Water park was a little on the smaller size, but there were plenty of pools to enjoy. Being that I had children with me, I could appreciate that the area I was in was more calm and family friendly while still having a swim up bar for the adults. The pools overseeing the beach were definitely the party area but still decent to have the kids around just louder. Resort was nicely located. My only complaint would be the lack of entertainment on the resort. Over all I recommend this resort and plan on visiting again.

the only problem i have with the resort is the seagulls it was crazy . Also they should have better dining option instead of buffets.

First time to Cabo and this resort. Upon arrival make sure you exit the airport and head outside near the Tikki Bar where transport drivers are waiting for you. Other wise you will run into salesman galore. If you use Destination Services for transport to hotel look for the guys with white and green shirts near tikki bar...its a mad house with other drivers. They will not look for you and their call back number is useless. The Hotel (RIU-Sante Fe) is very nice once you get past security gate. Once you check in be prepared to carry your own luggage to room. Not a deal breaker but the resort is huge and the walk to building #9 is not a short trot. The building we stayed at had no elevator so we had to haul our luggage up 3 flight of stairs. Unsure if the other buildings had an elevator. The rooms were very nice and clean...no complaints here. room cleaning service was excellent. Food and staff were very good and exceeded my expectations. There was plenty to do throughout the resort and you really dont have to leave. Tip: if you decide to leave the resort, the hotel staff at front can get a taxi to wherever you need to go for approx 15-16 U.S Dollars. However you can walk about 5 min down to the security gate doors and summon an UBER for about 6 dollars. We also did not bother in obtaining pesos for dollars...we used our credit cards since it automatically converts money for you. The hotel does not accept U.S Dollars. Hope this helps future travelers

Great stay at Riu Santa Fe. Amazing ocean views. The room had everything that we needed. Beautiful property. The food was better than the last 3 all inclusive resorts that we've stayed at, including Riu Vallarta. We would definitely stay there again.

The staff was amazing! The property needs golf carts for people who have a hard time walking since the property is so large and beautiful and maybe some benches to sit on to rest from the long walks. Mexican food was amazing other foods need more seasoning (flavor) and drinks are a little weak.

Grounds and rooms were nice, no elevator and walking up to 4th floor was no good but they moved us to 1st floor 1st thing in the morning after I asked. Food was lacking all together. Only found a few things that were ok but nothing was spectacular or special in the culinary area. 3.4 outta 5 imho.

I did not like that there was no transport to room or benches to sit on when you got tired of walking. There was no communications between Travelocity and the hotel. Our flight was delayed and could not speak to anyone.

On our first day the housekeeping personnel took $200 usd from my wife’s purse we specifically told them we did not need any room service and for them not to come in our room so they waited after we left our room and still went in. I took my complaint to front office and some lady from public relations department spoke with me and wrote down what had happened she told me there was going to be an investigation to see who had entered my room she said we have cameras and can track who enters the room with their key everyone has their own key assigned to them so with all that security she promised me a call or an email and I didn’t get either. On my last day I went to check out I asked what had happened with the investigation they told me to wait an hour to speak with their boss my transport to the airport was almost there so I told the person I couldn’t wait for his boss but to give me a call ASAP befor I was asked to leave this review, he said I’ll make a note foor my boss to call you as soon as he gets here I said ok but still no call or email. I told the clerk all I wanted was to see what happened with their investigation and to at least to get an apology for our experience. I’m sorry to say that because of their poor performance to take care of the customer I will never be back to this place.they need to be more attentive the their customers this was a serious matter and was ignored.
