Mexican Motel 6 , not really walkable to anything unless you want to walk a 4 lane road and hotel had limited food service. Small pool wedged in between parking lot and no cushions on any of the chaise lounges. Can’t be in your room with curtains opened as it looks out on walkway and parking lot. I booked on travelocity as a last minute add on to by fabulous trip in Cabo and wanted to check out as soon as I checked in . Spent the night and have been dealing with Travelocity for a refund and the hotel refuses to refund the money 😡

The hotel is walking distance to town. People were great and the pool was nice. Rooms were good but if you want to watch some television -it's lacking.

The staff was nice. But the hotel room wasn’t to my expectation we had reserved two rooms. It was always hot and humid in the room since the ac felt it wasn’t working. The room key wouldn’t smoothly unlock the door. I had to try at least five ones to open the room. The shower spilled water. It was just overal uncomfortable to sleep there

Quinta del Sol

Pros: The breakfast buffet was very good. Make sure to add the free breakfast option when booking your hotel. The hotel is gated, so safer than most.
Location: The location is a short walk to the main attractions in downtown Cabo. If you don't like walking, the hotel has on-site cabs that drive guests to town
I was there for 4 days and 4 night during Labor Day weekend 2016. The restaurant staff was very professional and the quality of the food was good. On my third night, the town was hit by a hurricane/tropical storm. The storm knocked out power and wifi throughout the night and there was minor flooding in some rooms. The staff handled the situation very professionally and offered us a discounted room rate the following day due to a canceled flight back to the U.S. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Walking distance to a couple convenience stores, banks, taco shops, grocery stores, Walmart and Dominos pizza.

Nice hotel close to the beach.

Pros: The newness of the property, the staff, the location and the price.
Cons: Only that they give you one coffee packet per day free and that they could have cleaned out the outside cigarette disposal daily vs. every other day.
Location: Close to downtown and the beach. Taxi service was $8 to my favorite beach joints and $8 to downtown. So all Cabo amenities were within easy reach.
I was on a business trip so did not stay at a beachfront resort. This newer addition to the Solmar chain was perfect for this trip. I had a junior suite, which made both working in my room and fixing small meals for myself very easy. The staff was helpful. I called on them twice to help and they were right there, helping me understand the lighting better and bringing small washcloths to me. They had a reasonably priced shuttle to and from the airport as well.

Economy hotel

Pros: Low rates
Cons: Nothing for the price
Location: Near he harbor. Lots of street vendors, restaurants, shopping.
Was a good experience. The rate was very good. Street vendors, the harbor area and Restaurants were all within walking Distance.

Nothing good about it.

Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: Nothing close, Noisy, Poor breakfast
When I first arrived I could not believe that was the Hotel I was going to be staying for my long waited vacation. I took a shuttles from the airport. When it got to my destination I was embarrassed to come down. All the passengers thought this was a restaurant. The place is under construction, machinery working day and night. You have to walk for 10 - 15 minutes to get to the beach. The pool is always very small and always over crowded. The jacuzzi is portable, it sits on top the cement, It was too filthy and crowded.

Black mold in the bathroom, a refrigerator that froze everything, and tile floors that echo footsteps from unit above

Pros: Free Internet, security
Cons: Nothing close, Noisy, Poor breakfast
If you don't mind walking a mile to where the shops and restaurants are, it's not a bad location. Kudo's for the security. The free continental breakfast was dispensed in an unconventional way - you sit down to order from a menu, then make the continental choice. Have to wait for the bill of zero and leave a tip. There is no fast way to get it. We had black mold in the bathroom, which ventilates poorly. (Desperately needs a fan!) The refrigerator froze pop, leftovers and fresh fruit. When we came, the dresser drawer was broken and hanging out. I took it to the lobby and it was 2 days before we got a new one. The walls are thin. It's pretty easy to tune out conversations and TV, but no way to ignore the footsteps from the unit above. Wore high heels and clomped around all night. Sounded like a horse. Could hear her throwing up in her bathroom. The tile floors are cold.
