This property is right at the center of the city. The hotel is very old, but rooms were clean. There are lots of great restaurants and interesting places at walking distance.

NIGHTMARE!!! PESADILLA!!!

Pros: The cleaning ladies were some of the "nice" hotel employees!
Cons: EVERYTHING! Put soap in the bathroom! Clean towels! Provide the guests with toilet paper!
Location: Around the corner from the hotel, there were homeless people with very scary dogs, setting their living quarters on the sidewalk!
I made my reservation more than a month in advance of my arrival, using Travelocity where the room is described as SUPERIOR with a VIEW!!! Be aware of false advertisement there were NO SUPERIOR ROOMS AND THE VIEW WAS TOTALLY NON EXISTENT!!! The room was substandard, with broken pipes in the bathroom, mold and mildew on the bathroom ceiling, a non working hairdryer, a very old and hard mattress, a dirty and stained carpet, and some of the hotel employees have a "I am superior attitude" and they are not going to help you, it seems they forgot they are in the hospitality business.The photos on line must be from another hotel, they are NOT from Gran hotel Argentino! My room called "Suite" (a total joke!), did not have wooden floors or any modern furniture as shown on the photos! It was on the eight floor and the elevators took a very long time to come!

Great location

Great location, just a room with a bed. Price was right. Good breakfast. A little on the loud side, pictures make it look better than it really is.
