I'm sorry that the unit wasn't what you expected. We do wish that you had spoken with us about your concerns. We would have tried to find you something else here or even offered you your money back and suggested other places to stay. We do not, nor have we ever advertised lake views. We have 2 large marinas / docks and lake access is walking distance from all parts of the resort. But, we do not have lake views. We do have a pleasant setting ranging from grass and trees to forest that leads to the lake. This is a resort, and as in the cases of most resorts, there will be other cottages in the same section you are in. We hope that you had a good trip otherwise and got a chance to relax , use the indoor pool, or just watch the deer walk by.
