Our experience at this motel was awful. Travelocity should not be associated with this motel. It is an unsafe place for a family stay or solo female travelers. The hotel looked a little sketchy when we arrived. However, our check in experience was positive and we were reassured. As we drove to our room, we noticed there were very few cars in the parking lot. There were only construction vehicles in the parking lot. We arrived at our room and we found orange shirts placed on the chairs outside the neighboring rooms. This was very odd and I thought that was a signal for something. I later found out that I was most likely correct. As we entered room, we noticed the floor was filthy. We had to keep our shoes on at all times. There was a random jar lid and cheetos on the floor in the bathroom. There was hair all over the shower/tub. The fridge didn't work and smelled like fish. We tried to settle in and get some sleep but the walls were paper thin. We could hear every word that was said in the room next door. Our neighbors were having a fun night of partying and lots of sex. We could literally hear EVERYTHING. The motel was empty. Why would the staff put us (a family) in a room next to customers that wanted a night of partying?? I am pretty sure the orange shirts were a signal for prostitutes or drugs.
