Unusual accommodation
This B and B is all right, but it is located far out of central Bologna, and there is no sign on the main road, indicating that a B & B is there. The young man who has set up this establishment in his apartment was pleasant, but I never saw him after the check-in. There was coffee and a lot of processed foods in cellophane at breakfast, foods I did not sample. I found a pastry under a glass dome and had a portion. The only complaint is the location and the sense of being out in limbo once closed into this apartment. The buildings in this complex are lovely, secluded, under tight security, which must be great for the residents. For a single traveler, this is no place to stay.

Excellent B&B just on the outskirts of the city
My 2 friends and I stayed for 2 nights and we were very happy with this accommodation. The room was very comfortable and clean and very nicely decorated (the towels provided where amazing) and the 2 bathrooms were always very clean also. We were pleased to discover that there was a fridge for guests to use. My only negative comments are that I thought the breakfast could have been slightly better but it was fine for the 2 mornings we were there. Secondly the B&B was quite hard to find as the location on google maps shows the building on the wrong side of the road.

The room was nice and the location was good, about 10 minutes walking from city center. Although the first day I appreciated the breakfast which included only sweets (croissants, nutella, jam, donuts, apple pie and fruits), the second day it became too much:). I recon something salty should be added.

Tres Chic Central Avenue B & B!
Central Avenue B & B was a great choice for accommodations during my stay in Bologna. It was easy to get to from the train station after riding 1 bus which stopped steps away from the avenue. Roberto, my host was extremely helpful and friendly, happy to spend time chatting with me and recommending locales in Bologna. The B & B was beautifully decorated, my room was huge, and the shared bathrooms were spacious and clean. There were 2 shared bathrooms available for guests and never a hindrance. The B & B was just a block outside of the old city walls, but an easy walk to get to the city center, restaurants, shops, markets, etc. Very convenient and an excellent price!

Very nice and lovely little B&B. You have to be aware that the bathrooms are shared and that the breakfast area is very small. But if you are ok with that, you should definitely go there. The owners are very nice and helpful.
