Woke up to hammering on the wall at 6:45 am. Not that it usually rains in LA but the roof was leaking in my room into my luggage. Didn’t offer to move me to a different room. Just oh no that sucks. The shower basically was a closet with a drain. I opted to take a dry shower in my room because the shower was terrible.I’m flying home with wet luggage and no recourse for the inhospitable conditions

This place is VERY dirty and not safe, window latches were broken and windows slide right up from ground level. The bed was as squeaky as they come, and toilet howls while flushing .. I DO NOT recommend this even at this lower price point.

The employees are excellent and very friendly; that made the stay more pleasant. The bed and sheets were clean, as were the bathrooms and showers. The tables, the walls look like they haven't been cleaned in years. The building is old and could be very inviting if it were better preserved. It is in a very nice and safe area. It's perfect if you're short on budget.
