They focus on events and neglect hotel guests. There was no attendant to greet or guide guests on arrival, so you’re mostly on your own. Marvin checked us in, we had reserved a regular room and he gave us a disability room without informing us of the switch … the sink did not have hot water, the shower was hand-held, the heat did not work and when we tried to call down to front desk to complain, the phone did not work! Even more depressing was the room faced onto a brick wall! Too exhausted after a long journey we decided to wait until the next morning when we were told we would need to wait till afternoon for rooms to become available. Half the elevators didn’t work so on a busy weekend there’s a long wait for elevators. Very disappointing guest service. A lot of effort goes towards servicing events but not recommended for overnight stay, even Sunday breakfast had a 25 minute wait for a table.
