Affordable hotel in the heart of old Beijing

Pros: Free Internet
Not a bad place. Nice patio. We stayed in a 3 single beds room. Enough space. If you plan to spend your time in Beijing mostly out - deffinetely recommended.

The manager is a tyrant to his staff and lacks honesty.

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
Cons: no phones
Staff was great, but very afraid of manager. I was charged hidden charges that were not in my reservation bill. When I asked to talk to the manager he became tyrannical and exploded in front of staff and other hotel guests. He yelled at me, which was very upsetting as I am not well of health and I explained this to him - He yelled back that he did not care why I was there. No phones are available to call out and other necessities missing. This hotel is overpriced for what it provides to the guests. I would not recommend anyone staying here as all the staff is looking for jobs elsewhere due to bad managerial treatment.
