Beautiful room, comfy bed. The pool area could use updating, the umbrellas chairs had mold on some and were worn out.,The jacuzzi looked like it needs new plaster. The pool and jacuzzi both needed attention. However overall nice hotel and great room.

Check in was a breeze. The staff was incredible, the restaurant (Enoteca) was fantastic. Room was clean, friendly, no issues. Would totally stay here over again. The full size refrigerator was a nice surprise, and the fireplace made the room very comfortable. My only problem was, we set our food out on the counter and within 20 minutes, ants had poured out of the area around the counter and swarmed over our food. Looked like an ant army invasion. Housekeeping provided bug spray because maintanance was closed ( it was 9 pm). Maintainance came and resprayed, but the smell was so bad we decided to cut our vaycay short. (NOT the hotels fault, my wife had a cold and the cold weather was making it worse.) Still, a terrific place where the staff knows your name and they take pride in what they do and how they do it.

I enjoyed the whirlpool jacuzzi in the room. Would be more happy with the service if was told there will be no room service during my stay. I had to asked to have the garbage empty out and fresh towels. I asked for a balcony unit but was not given. I asked for the luggage carrier to move my bags to my room , but wasn't available. The ceiling is very thin or there was an Olympic team training 24/7 upstairs. I can hear constant pounding noise upstairs. Lots of guests do not wear masks. I'm not about to share an elevator with them, but the stairs leading to outside, so can't get back in. The front desk people aren't the most courteous. They were there to do their job, not to provide the service that this place should be which is an upscale hotel. They aren't rude but just provide you any additional information when a person first time coming. It's sad cuz this place has a lot of potential.
