"Our family will return!"
Our family of four returned for a second visit to The Reserve. Our children ages 17 and 18 count down the days until we can relax in paradise. If you want a week of lounging at the beach or pool, this is the place. This year we upgraded to a swim up suite and will do so again. We enjoyed getting to know the wait staff and chefs and their personal service. Luis Rodriguez, Jairo Pacheco, Jeffery Diaz, and Adenauell Perez went above and beyond what we expected and connected with our family making us feel welcome and like we were having a meal at a good friend's home.  Our family works and studies hard and just want a week of reading good books with our feet in the sand or with our toes in the pool.  Can't wait to return!

"Felt like Paradise!"
My spouse and I needed a kid free getaway to unwind and relax. We are totally satisfied with our decision to stay at the Paridisus Palma Real, and will definitely consider staying there again. Our stay exceeded our expectations. Bolivar Guzman our concierge was very pleasant, helpful and accommodating....he's the best. Isabel and the other masseuse (sorry we forgot her name) did wonders for us at the Yhi spa. The room was spacious, clean and well designed. The food at the buffet was excellent, and was actually better than the food at we had at the resort restaurants. I guess because it is all inclusive the menu selection at the restaurants are limited. We enjoyed the variety and quality of food for breakfast and lunch, and looked forward to those meals everday. The staff overall was very friendly and attentive. Our mini bar in the room was restocked daily. It took us one day to find our drink of choice which was the Rum Punch....best drink ever....we had it daily for lunch and dinner. The night events were very entertaining, especially the Michael Jackson night. The casino is small but was adequate for the amount of guests on site. Roulette became my favorite game. So obviously like most resorts they have a vacation club. So we were convinced to go to a meeting to hear about the vacation club. They were a little misleading, by telling us that they don't sell anything it is purely informational, and will only last up to 90 minutes. Well our sales advisor was Abraham, he was very nice, down to earth and informative. He took us to see the members only facilities/services. The breakfast and presentation lasted about 3 hours, we were so exhausted afterwards and had to go back to our room to take a nap. In the end we did not go on vacation to be prepared to join a vacation club that will cost upwards of $20-$30K. We still appreciated the Spa discount, which took $100 off of our spa cost and the casino credits. The other coupons/credits we didn't use (i.e. room upgrade and wine). We also got a voucher to eat at the Gabi Beach restaurant, which we expected to be great since it is not part of the inclusive package......we would have preferred eating at the buffet....it was not all that. So all in all, it was a great experience, we love the resort, and will definitely stay again if we go to Punta Cana, and would also consider other Melia hotels at other locations.

"Great experience!"
This was our first trip to Punta Cana and the Paradisus and we were pleasantly surprised! The resort is huge and the grounds are impeccable. The rooms were large, clean, and very comfortable-the beds and pillows were just right. The shower was large and up to date. Bottled water was provided everywhere. My best compliments are for the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful; we truly felt spoiled. The beach is gorgeous, and you could find sun or shade depending on your needs. There are numerous restaurants to pick from, and the food was excellent. You have to walk a bit to get to the beach or restaurants but we didn't look at that as a negative. All in all we truly enjoyed our visit!

"Great all-inclusive experience at a lovely resort"
I read conflicting info about this resort before we booked it, so I would like to share our experience. We arrived at the resort via Blue Travel shared shuttle (just fine for the price we paid). In about 10 minutes we were taken to the Level lounge to check in. We were given a lovely cocktail and after about five minutes, a lovely girl checked us in. Our butler then showed us around the Level area and took us to our room. He told us dinner dress code was anything for women, just closed toe shoes for men. We had a suite on the first floor in Building 28, and it was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We stayed in the Adults Only section of the Level, and the only time we ever saw a child was when we up to the main lobbies at the front of Melia. The pool was peaceful and not crowded at all until the weekend, but there were still plenty of comfy lounge chairs to lie on by the pool. The beach was never crowded, and the seaweed was there just as it is everywhere in the Caribbean now, but the resort had a machine out there raking it up as fast as it could. The staff is SO friendly and sweet and almost everyone speaks English. We saw the timeshare guy in the lobby, but we told him we weren't interested and he left us alone. There is a good variety of food, and it was good, but not great. You can bargain for about 10% off in the gift shops. We did not have to pay extra for anything except souvenirs and tips. Overall, a beautiful, relaxing, friendly place. I would go back again for sure
