The FX

Just renovated! Very stylish! Very nice rooms but small. Free WiFi. Very close to the BTS station. Small pool but ok. Small gym but ok. The hotel is hidding from the main road and kinda difucult to find. The breakfast is amazing! Very close to shooping and night life.

Great Hotel

First trip to Bangkok on a three night stay. Arrived at the hotel by taxi at midnight and was met by friendly doorman who took my bag. Easy check in. English speaking. Room was large and very clean. King size bed large bathroom #40 not luxurious #41 fridge small kitchen with microwave. Overall very nice for * per night. The day and night staff were all excellent. On my arrival I asked if the street Soi 1 was safe to walk alone and they said absolutely. So I walked and it was. Some very good and interesting restuarants and holes in the walls on Soi 1. The hotel is situated directly opposite to one of the entrances to the main international hospital in Bangkok and I found that a great source of good cheap eating was eat where the nurses eat!

A nice hotel for the price

The Hotel was down Soi 1 off of Sukhumvit road close to the tourist action but quiet around the hotel. It's right next to a major hospital which is a nice thing when traveling. There are several good restaurants on the same street and around the hotel. It's walking distance to the train station and many of the areas tourist attractions. The hotel area seems safe even when taking a walk at 3am in the morning(jet lag). The room was nice with a comfortable bed and the breakfast was really good. I enjoyed the steam room although the pool was small and situated where you could only get sun for an hour or two. The staff was both pleasant/helpful and I would stay there again.
