Clean Efficient Good Internet, but got harrassed out front

I'm going to start with the worst part of this hotel: I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks and was harassed by a local non-hotel tuk-tuk taxi operater for 5 of 14 days out front of the hotel to the point I will never return to this hotel or area again. In Asia "face" is very important even for foreigners and the hotel allowed this man to stay after I had reported him therefore making me feel loss of face when they did nothing. Trust me, the hotel had the local power to politely ask him to disappear until I checked out (due to his behavior toward me), but they let him stay and face me each day even though he had became angry after I simply refused his services several times the first week. I enjoy walking EVERYWHERE. Other than this, the rooms were clean, small but efficient with desk area and a good safe. Excellent for single person traveling or budget couples. The Internet access was good for Asia. There was one day the Internet went out completely but the hotel promptly paid to have it serviced and it was restored within 24 hours. They had free computers in the lobby faster because they were on cable. Staff all spoke nearly excellent English. The housekeepers were nice and friendly as much as you can not speaking English - I always gave her a 100 baht a day. It's a shame the they couldn't rectify the harrassment issue outside because I'll avoid that guy and that means the hotel too.
