"A bit overpriced, but very nice"
The amenities and the hotel are very nice, but the rooms can be on the small side at times. Not that it is unexpected in an older hotel. A nice place to stay on weekend trips to downtown Austin.

"Great Total Experience!!"
This breathtaking resort was so much fun!  The room was beautiful and the bed was amazing!!  The service staff made us feel like royalty.  The room service was fast and the food was delicious!!  This was our first trip to Austin and the central location was so convenient for us to explore the city and get back to the hotel using the close freeway access.  Loved it!

"Great hotel for families, especially the free breakfast."
My room was clean and spacious. I had problems with the air conditioning; although there was a "thermostat" I could get the room any cooler than 72 and it was stuffy at night. I asked to have it looked at but there was no change. Since the windows didn't open, I couldn't adjust the room temperature. It was cooler in the lobby area but the room temp was not satisfactory.

"Just off Congess in downtown, Starbucks in the lobby and in walking distance of great stuff. We made the right choice"
We had a great stay here. Good coffee as close as the lobby. A few blocks from good food and interesting sites. Will book it again next time.

"WOW!!! I want to stay here again!!!"
The Four Seasons Austin is a magical place. The building and grounds are the best of the best. Austin is a beautiful city and the Four Seasons helped us to enjoy and experience this great city. We asked the Concierge what there was to do in Austin. He told us that he might be able to get us tickets to see Wicked. He did. The performance was sold out and was truely amazing. As great as the hotel was, the staff were even better. Why do we like the Four Seasons so much--because the staff provide a level of service that we experience no where else. My wife told me that they made her feel like the most important person in the world. We want to go back to Austin, to spend more time at the Four Seasons and to spend more time in this very special city.

"Good hotel for both business or pleasure"
This is a good hotel. It's better than nearly any hotel in Austin. Being south of the river you will have a couple block longer walk to restaurants but the view can't be beat.

"beautiful and sophisticated hotel"
this is a great hotel! I loved our room which overlooked Hill country. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but that was minor. Location of hotel is excellent; hotel, itself, is beautiful; staff is very professional and helpful; elevators are quick; food was delicious from the small take-out restaurant. couldn't find anything wrong with the hotel and we hope to stay there again since my son lives in austin.

"Disappointed from expectations..."
My husband, 7yr old son and myself decided to make a last minute decision to stay in Austin for one night so I was trying to find a hotel located in the downtown area. The Hilton had a few rooms available and we were excited because we have never stayed in that particular hotel although we have seen it many times. From the exterior, the hotel and lobby were nicely decorated and clean but the room and hallways were a different matter. The carpet and wallpaper seemed old and our room was the biggest disappointment. The biggest complaint was dirty decorative pillows (white/dark stains), wax on nightstands, and headboards that were filled with nasty hand and/or feet marks!! Ewwww! Upon checkout, I notified the desk clerk of my complaints. I also think that the parking fee could come down some,$15-20.00 instead the $26. Overall, the price and location were great can't complain there but the plain decor and dirtiness of the room horrified me. I recommend for price and location but not in a hurry to go back. I expected more from the Hilton name, so disappointed!!
