Not sure if we got a bad room or what. We had multiple issues with our room with the outlets, the drain, and the toilet. When we checked out I told the manager so it could be fixed before it was checked out again. He just kept shutting me down every issue I had and didn’t even let me finish my sentence. Also there was food by the elevator that was never cleaned up during our stay.

Room was clean and AC was turned on when we arrived to the room making it comfortable. Bed was okay not great. Nice room for the price. Carpet needs to be changed out it had a lot of stains. Wear socks. Breakfast was hot and plenty of choices. My biggest issue was the hotel is not located in a very good area. Construction in the area made it tricky to get around. Homeless people were a problem at the intersection while waiting for the light. CONSTANTLY having them clean my windows for money. They don't take No for an answer . The hotel description indicated Room witth a view. Our room with a view was terrible you only see residential houses and roof tops. We kept curtains closed. My vehicle was fine but I worried about it. I might return if they had security visible on the grounds.

The property looked good in the photos. When we arrived, we could tell that the paintwork was sloppy and didnt look very good. After our first night we were warming something up in the microwave and when we opened it there was a cockroach running around. We complained to management and they moved us rooms. to the room directly below our first room! Luckily we didnt see any more creepy crawlies for the remainder of our stay. They claim they are going to give us a partial refund but didnt say how much so we will see. It also isnt in a very good area so you will be worried about your vehicle being broken into the entire time you are there and there were multiple homeless people walking around the property as well. We will not be staying at any of their properties again and will not reccomend them to our friends or family.

The room was really clean except for the carpet. The carpet had so many stains on it. The bathroom was super clean and the beds were really clean. The bed was not comfortable to me at all but the bed was comfortable to my husband. On Travelocity it said the room had a city view and we had a view of an old wooden fence. I guess it wasn’t so bad for the price.

Old Hotel

Old hotel

This is an old hotel which is advertising renovations underway...they are desperately needed. Good things first...the beds were comfortable and it was nice to have the extra space provided by a jr suite. Jr suite consisted of a sofa, chair and side table which face an extra sink, counter, and mini fridge. The only lighting in the suite part was a small lamp on the side table which did not provide adequate light for reading or doing anything else in that space. There were 3 small pillows on each bed...would a 4th pillow be too much to ask for...would have made the equivalent of two standard pillows. The hotel smelled bad at the entrance and lobby...and they had a blower in the breakfast area drying out wet carpet from a leak. The carpet has pulled up in many aces throughout the hallways creating trip hazards. The ceiling paint in our room was coming down from a leak and the bathroom tub was rusted in spots and lacked general maintenance and cleaning. The front desk clerk was apologetic and offered 2 additional rooms but none was in better condition. I am on the hunt for a reasonably priced hotel near the university....I will keep looking.

Bad location. Very few places to eat.

Pros: Room was clean.
Cons: Clean up the exterior.
Location: Poor access to travel unless you're going south on I-35.
Hotel is not very well maintained. Carpets need to be cleaned.
