Beside the Hotel being clean and very nicely landscaped etc. I cannot say enough about the staff. We were traveling from SO CAL when the car broke. We were not sure when it would be fixed which was very nerve racking since we were supposed to drive home immediately and did not have reservations for the holiday weekend. They held a room for us, gave us a late checkout and were very accommodating and empathetic. The 3 women and one guy at the office desk were very nice, calm and supportive. Just what we needed with an uncertain vehicle problem! Thank you for everything!!

Auburn is the gateway to the Sierras. Beautiful nature and old downtown Auburn is fantastic. Only 16 miles from old Placerville via route 49.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It was very easy to check in and check out and the staff was very accommodating even when I asked them for more coffee.

Super-clean room -- simply appointed but new and nice. Everything worked, great HVAC, beautiful gardening out front, great parking for my trailer. Very practical and courteous handling of COVID distancing measures. Definitely going to stay here again.
