"Reasonably priced downtown stay"
I arrived in the wrong tower and had to find my way to the other side. A staff member in the elevator was helpful in directing me where to go. Stayed four nights in a king single. The ottoman in my room looked very worn and didn't really match the other furniture. The seat at the desk was also very old and I could not sit in it without back pain. That said, I had a great view of the park and city skyline. The bed was rather firm. Trying to log into wifi was an issue. It costs $10/night for basic wifi, but the login page says if you sign up for their rewards program it would be free. I signed up and used the wifi but they still tried to charge me, saying you had to book through their website. I told them that wasn't clear on the sign up page and they deducted it from my bill. Overall it wasn't the greatest hotel but the rates were more affordable than others in the area.

"Came for Emory docs, but enjoyed Atlanta too!"
My 93 y/o grandmother and I drove up from Savannah, GA so that she could see an eye specialist at Emory. It was a trip filled with unknowns and anxiety, but from the moment we arrived at the Artmore we nearly forgot about the doctor! On the drive up, they called and informed us that we were selected for an upgrade to a two floor, two bedroom and two bath suite! When we arrived the staff, including the valet guys, were absolutely lovely and courteous. Our room was like a NYC penthouse - complete with black and white pictures of rock and movie stars (also throughout the hotel). The Beatles were in our living room, Elvis in my grandmother's room and Mick Jagger and Jimi Hendrix in my upstairs "en suite." After dinner out in town the first night, we returned and sat outside in the balmy weather in the gorgeous, string-lit and fire-fountain courtyard and chatted. Since we actually ended up having to stay two nights instead of one, the staff accommodated us by letting us stay in the suite another night for the same price that we found on Travelocity. Then by some magic at check-out, they didn't charge us for the $20 per night parking rate. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty and only $10. The "restaurant"(which we ate at the second night) is really just sitting at the bar off the lobby, but the food was good and the bartenders were friendly. You do have to pay to use the K-cups in the suite ($4 per cup, eek), but everything really exceeded our expectations

"Great Hotel"
Staying here for a few days with my children and grandchildren proved to be a very nice experience. It's a big place but the service was extremely ample for the number of people staying here. The huge atrium with its glass elevators made getting to and from our room a fun experience. The indoor/outdoor heated pool was a pretty unique one. Getting into a heated pool in a heated room and being able to swim through an opening into the cold outdoors was downright exhilarating. The granddaughters loved it as did I. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a great hotel experience.

"Atlanta Stay for a weekend!"
Great time in Atlanta, GA. The Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center is located in Mid-Town downtown and a short distance to the World of Coca-Cola Museum, and the Georgia Aquarium. Be sure to go to Mary Mac's Tea Room for lunch or dinner for real Southern Cooking! For a quick meal, or one that is Carry-Out, I recommend Nancy's Pizza! Excellent Chicago style deep dish pizza. Two people can eat a Medium, with pizza to spare!
