A quaint, lived in, beautiful home !

Pros: Cozy, clearly loved and cared for !
Cons: Not a thing !
Location: Very close to downtown, the ferries, shops, and restaurants. Already halfway up the hill to McCraig's tower.
A perfect location to stroll downtown Oban ! We so enjoyed our time in this lovely quest house ! Our hostess was a sweet , caring, woman with many stories, suggestions, and had such an engaging way about her ! Her breakfasts were the best we had in 2 weeks of travel around Scotland... I even enjoyed the blood sausage ! The room was cozy, bathroom was clean and the home was quiet. Highly recommend this B&B !! Thank you !

Great B&B in a cute town

Pros: Location and host
Cons: Wi-fi signal
Location: Central location in a small port town, many restaurants nearby, everything is within walking distance, ferry port to the islands is 1 minute away
The Roseneath was better than expected! Our host was extremely friendly and helpful. She greeted us right away, chatted with us about the town, and offered us a large breakfast that unfortunately we could not take advantage of due to an early ferry we were taking. The second (and last) morning we were also leaving very early so we could not take part in her home-cooked meal, but she packed us a breakfast to take with us, which was more than great. She met us very early in the morning of our departure to personally give us our meal. The room was very clean and cozy. Parking was free and in a parking lot. Wi-fi signal was minimal in our room, but worked in the main area. Would definitely stay there again!
