Betty at the front desk was amazing. So helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel was nice, close to the metro. Joe Theisman's restaurant around the corner.

Location is the most important quality of this hotel. It is in a great part of Old Towne Alexandria. It is an older hotel and facilities show their wear. Parking is a major issue. Our last night was very crowded and parking was a problem. Too many parking places for compact cars. Small cars take large parking spots making it difficult for large cars to park. $20 a day to park in a small, underground lot is too much.
