"Extra charge "
Hotel is nice and clean, checkout is at 11am but was stunned when called the front desk to see if we could check out later. told them only needed an hour at the most. They charge 40.00 if you need to stay longer I have never had this happen anywhere. Advice don't party to late the nite before ;)

"Vegas First Timer"
My fiancé and I decided to tie the knot in Vegas- we brought a group of 10 people with us and all stayed at Planet Hollywood- location is freaking fantastic!!! We were able to walk pretty much anywhere except to our chapel- but the limos are pretty cheap when split 3/4 ways! Hopping from casino to casino if you like gambling is super easy. I loved the mall (Miracle Mile Mall) it had nice shops that cater more towards the average person. My only real complaint- in the rooms themselves- dust, missing handles, burnt out lights. The upkeep is a little lacking, but as we weren't in the room all that much we looked past it. We had a fantastic time at Planet Hollywood- oh and if you like coffee Planet Dailes is the place to be- cheap, never ending, excellent coffee! ** Pink's hotdogs in Planet Hollywood is Awesome aswell. We will be back many times over.

That was fantastic .(to get this room was a aditional $40.00 dollars per day ) but since they just got married she gave as a gift .(was very nice of her ).

"Great Experience"
It was a great trip! but $28 for wifi and fitness gym was waste of money. They said it's mandatory but no one goes to fitness gym in Vegas and the wifi was so slow it wasn't even worth it. Other than that mandatory fee the hotel is great. So many things you can do [Great Restaurants, Shopping Mall, Sight Seeing, Fun Games, Etc]. It was money well spent. Except that mandatory fee.

"Good Location"
Beautiful hotel centrally located. Tram runs from Monte Carlo to Bellagio. However, we saw no signs for the tram until we walked to the Aria, got on the tram and then saw it went to the Monte Carlo. Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, we waited 30 minutes to check in. With almost 3,000 rooms, should have been more employees. Also, the Concierge line was always long. The pool and lazy river were very nice and the Food Court was great for a reasonably priced breakfast and lunch. Casino had too many old machines which were extremely tight. I had read that the Monte Carlo was recently updated. I don't know what was updated but it wasn't our room. Mold stains around edge of tub and chairs and carpet stained. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

"Free Yoga, but no hot water"
The only real complaint is that the room didn't have hot water. It was pretty hot outside, though, so this wasn't a huge deal - just odd. Everything else about the hotel was great. My favorite part (after gambling and drinking all night long, obviously) about the entire stay was the free yoga by the pool every morning at 8a - I'd never done yoga before, and the instructor was really nice and it was a great intro. That's honestly the last thing I'd expected to be doing in Vegas, but was also very pleasantly surprised. My wife talked me into that. There were 2 - 5 people there each morning, so small groups.

"Great Location"
Great location, clean hotel rooms, however 2 things - 1) due to the fact you have to walk through the casino to get to your room like every other hotel in Vegas, you end up smelling like the wrong end of a cigarette ( disgusting ) 2) food/drink prices very expensive

"# TheOne fight weekend"
The visit to Vegas was fun.  NYNY hotel was a pleasant stay.  We upgraded room because we arrived before check-in time.  Upgrade cost us $20 for early check-in and $15/day for upgrade.  Not sure what our original room looked like but it was double beds.  Upgraded room was to a King size bed.  Our room had an outside angle (room #1450 in New York Tower) and had extra space. It made for an almost suite feel.  Casino was adequate.  Needs more Craps table.  Several eating options.  The pizza place upstairs in food court, near walking bridge, is delicious.  At night on Saturday the NYNY Casino bar had a club feel.  There was a live DJ spinning great dance tunes.  Also, GO-GO dancers in the casino on platforms.   Worst part of the trip was flying Spirit Airlines.  Whatever you do spend the extra $ and don't fly Spirit.  Spirit Airline is a terrible airline.  They try to upsell you, submit credit card offers, fees and restrictions on luggage, seats seem awfully close together, and do not accept cash on plane.  BTW they charge for everything even blankets.  Travelocity offered a free show with a 3 day trip.  Be sure to understand all of the offers completely.  The offer was nice but a bit tediouse to obtain.  Not sure if it was Travelocity or the MGM Grand Resorts that made it difficult.  But be warned read and follow directions completely.  Even after we did everything correctly the MGM Box Office was still ready to charge us for the show tickets.  We ended up going to the Hotel the show (KA) was at to pick up our tickets.  KA is great unless you have seen other Cirque de Soleil productions.  If so then it is just good.  Best thing about the show is the stage that can manipulated.  Awesome!!! Well, the hotel was first class and the staff very helpful.I found all the restaurants on site very pricey. The bayside buffet was a good choice.$26.00 for a very complete brunch and 32.00 for the dinner buffet..All in all, NO complaints at all. The daily "resort fee" was 28.00( entitles you to the Pool, internet access etc.
