"Great location would stay there again."
We stayed over the Christmas Holiday. Our original booking did not include breakfast, but we upgraded when we arrived and had a great breakfast each morning. I recommend having the breakfast buffet at the hotel. We enjoyed sitting at the hotel bar each night. The concierge helped us with everything from ordering a car on Christmas Day to booking a tea reservation across town and theatre tickets. They can also exchange money for you at the hotel.

"Great Location"
Hotel was in a great location for us being tourists in London. It was modern and clean. Never ate at the hotel, but I did go down and get a drink one night. Seemed kind of stuffy and the bartenders were not very friendly...drink prices were kind of pricey too, but they could have been normal for that part of London.

"Good size room in Kensington area"
After reading various negative reviews of the hotel, we were quite pleased to find our rooms were sparkling clean, comparable to U.S. chains in size, and very quiet. (Do ask for the quiet side of the hotel - rooms 966/968 were quiet) The staff were helpful, particularly those at the door. When the private taxi that I hired was late, the young man on duty was quick to offer to track him down. Breakfast (included in our reservation) was more than adequate in choices, but sadly, we rarely had a hot item that was above lukewarm. Choose only from the middle of the chafing dish for the best chance of warm food. The restaurant in the space that serves breakfast was also disappointing at night. Go out to eat!

"Great Hotel!"
I was extremely satisfied with my stay at the Kingsway. The location was probably the best part for me - right by Covent Gardens, the tube, and lots of pubs and restaurants. The hotel staff were friendly and our room was cosy.

"A very well managed, customer oriented hotel."
I have stayed in this hotel on three occasions. Since my visits to London are for theatre and opera, the location is perfect--a block from Covent Garden, less than a ten minute walk over the Waterloo Bridge to the National Theatre, and easy walks to most all of the West End theatres.

"Great hotel but I found a big flaw in its design"
Hotel is really good, our room was very nicely decorated with high ceiling and service was quite good. I liked the breakfast selection and I recommend to go early because can have a large line later in the morning. Just a big flaw, during our last night of the stay there was a party at night time and the strong smell from the participants and the noise from people just talking outside your door made that night just unbearable. I have to say that all the nice and great experience from this hotel went down the board with that party. My solution for the hotel manager: please ensure doors remain closed between meeting rooms lobby and the rooms area. My recommendation to people staying in this hotel: check if there's a party going that night and don't accept room on 1st floor if that is the case.

"Nice Hotel. Right in the thick of it."
The hotel staff was excellent. Helpful with suggestiions about dinning, day trips etc. The hotel is more of an apartment (efficiency style), Good size refrigerator, microwave, stovetop and dishwasher. Plus anything you could think of for cooking. This really helped out with the expense of food in London. Don't get me wrong it's fun to experience the London restaurants and the many areas (Soho), but sometimes you just need a break. You are within two blocks of either Charring Cross or Embankment tube stations. Two blocks from the Thames River. About one and a half blocks to Trafalgar Square. Just a great experience all around.

"Great location to tube, friendly & helpful staff."
The hotel & room were very clean & modern, small but with a good-size bathroom (rare in Europe). Friendly & helpful staff. Good pubs & coffee shops nearby. Great location to tube. Our only complaint was that the bed was very hard, so if that's not to your taste think twice. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay.
