"Excellent Resort"
This is an excellent place to stay while in Cancun, very friendly and courteous staff, clean facility. You can tell the people that work there are happy and proud of where they work, always smiling and ready to help. We were a little aggravated about being approached about a "timeshare" type program immediately upon arrival, and arranging transportation for return flight was very confusing.

"nice hotel, staff was friendly and helpful"
rooms were clean and modern. Most importantly that Air conditioning worked well. Food was not awesome but is expected for all-inclusive. It will get you by and drinks are free. Great beach and water

"Relaxing family getaway"
This is a great resort for families and couples that need some R&R in a beautiful atmosphere. If you're looking for late night shenanigans ...this isn't your place. The staff is awesome and the location of this hotel is great. It's not huge so you'll never fight for a lounge chair or have to wait for a table in the restaurant. Go with the all-inclusive package, it's a great deal.

"Casa Turquesa = Casa Fantastica"
My wife and I stayed 5 nights at this beautiful friendly place. We had a larger than expected size room with a great view, great food and the friendliest staff immaginable. The smaller hotel size - less that 30 rooms - was a plus. The Kukulcan Plaza was alongside with several great resturants. At age 74 - this is my "first ever" review of any type - and is in keeping with a promise I made to myself The hotel has original art all over the walls, and many original sculptures. It also has an art gallery inside the property, I highly recommend it

"Nice hotel that's close to the beach."
The hotel as a whole is a little out dated and could use some updating and repairs. Our room wasn't ready for us at the time of check in, which was around 7pm. Found it strange and was told by front desk that it was still being "cleaned", but we could see on the computer screen that it said "Maintenance". The next morning we woke up to a water leak in our room. We notified the front desk and they had someone come fix it pretty quickly and the problem didn't return during the rest of our stay. Another complaint we had was the persistent personnel asking us to listen to a 90 minute pitch on joining their vacation club/time share. They were offering 2 free massages for our time, but we said no the first time and would of liked to have not been bothered everyday. And lastly, This is was a resort that we were led to believe was an "Adult Only Resort", but it clearly was not, as there were a number of children here. It didn't really bother us, but it would have been nice to know. Everything else was great. The food was great everyday with quite a few options to choose from at each meal. The staff was very friendly including the wait staff around the pool. They work so hard all day, make sure to tip them a few extra $'s! The pool is close to the beach. The views are amazing. It is close to shopping and other dinning options. The resort is small and pretty quiet, an ideal place to go and relax, not party. Overall we had a great time and would recommend this place to anyone.

"All-inclusive at Caribe-in July"
We traveled in July 2015, and didn't realize the humidity was so HIGH and the resort was open air lobby so unless you were in the water, your room, or a restaurant, it was close to miserable. I had not packed enough outfits to change 3 times a day! We met friends there and were constantly trying to find a cool place to 'visit.' The hotel staff were excellent from people mopping the floors constantly, adult activity/entertainment (Jonathan, Aldo, Mike), and to the bartenders & servers (Lobby: Enrique, Tony, Norma and Violeta, Zambia?). We ate in Gaviotas most mornings and the wait staff were excellent, as well as the 'pool bar' people were soooo good. I visited this bar and the lobby bar the most and you would think I could remember the bartenders, but.... . The upstairs restaurant (how soon we forget names) with Carolina as our seater. She was so nice, patient and always smiling. I liked this restaurant as it was air conditioned, looked out over the pool, beach and food was good. Fernando at Sunset Grill was awesome, friendly and attentive. WE also ate at Maria's - Mexican restaurant which was good but I guess I am too used to American/Mexican so this was 'fancy.' We did not try the Italian restaurant but looked at the menu and it looked good too. I also found nachos at the 24 hour cafe. Cheese was more runny than I am accustomed but it was good. I walked around to the children's area and it appears there is supervised children activities from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

"Great location but needs updating"
(We did not choose All-Inclusive Option because there are so many options close by) Positives: Hotel location is great, especially if you want to walk to nightlife/grocery store/market. Beach was much nicer than many hotels close to us that were covered in disgusting seaweed, and we could always find a chair and umbrella. Great pools with enough chairs and a swim up bar. We did buy beer and a cooler (no fridge), and brought that down to the beach to save some money. The employees were all pleasant and friendly. Negatives: The construction going on next door was loud. Luckily, our room was on the other side. I highly recommend paying extra for ocean view, and ask to be on opposite end of construction . We also got chairs and umbrellas on the other side of hotel where we could not hear it. The rooms are not very luxurious at all, but comfortable enough and clean. No chairs on the balcony. We found out the walls were very thin the last night when we had a bachelor party move in next to us :/ So, bring earplugs!

"Family Vacation"
Well we started off on the wrong foot with our check in. My reservation was fine. My sister's reservation was mixed up completely it took two days for them to fix it and several walks up and down to the front desk to try to get this issue resolved. Next was the service in the Palmita Deli. The first two days services was amazing. On the third day when we need it to be on point it went bad. The cook had an attitude and rolled his eyes anytime we asked a question about our food. I get people have bad days but his attitude sucked. It took over an hour to get the items we ordered because they lost our order and keep serving the employees who walked in after us. The weird thing is that we stood in line the whole time as we where told to, waiting for our meals. It was so bad we had to go and speak to the manager Ithamar Medina as our tour bus had arrived and our food had not. She was amazing. Handled our complaints with great compassion. She went as far as reimbursing us for the food we did not receive. From that point forward anytime she saw us in the hotel she stopped to chat and check in on us. She is great at her job. The other restaurants on the property are simply amazing. You've got to try La Casona Restaurant for breakfast and make sure to try the omelet bar with Raphael he is amazing and extremely friendly. Ask to sit at Sergio's table he is really attentive to his tables and he provides service with a smile and a few jokes. We had a great time at this location.
