"Good room for the price."
Rooms are a little small, but very clean. Good amenities. Staff very pleasant. Parking garage spaces very tight. Hotel has more charm than the average chain hotel. Best of all: price is very reasonable for downtown Seattle.

"Fairly expensive for one night, but no complaints."
They charge you for parking and it's fairly expensive, but it's close to a number of good restaurants and not far from the waterfront. Just about everything is walkable, including getting to the light rail station which will take you to the airport.

"Good location"
Staff was always very helpfull ,great view of Needle from room ,happy hour very good, restaurant menu was very good ,good service all around. A couple of negatives there was construction across the street from our room and was very noisy at times .the room needed some repair -bathroom mostly. THE BIGGIE WAS WI-FI WAS NOT FREE ? As we explored the surrondings ,other hotels, restaurants, had it even in the lobby or bar. It was available ,but not there.

"great location"
The room was a bit small, but was clean, bathroom was very tiny. They are under construction, so if you plan to be there during the day it can be a bit noisy, but they don't start real early and they stop by late afternoon. The parking is a problem. They do not have their own garage, so if you want to go in and out you get charged each time. We didn't find that out until we had already parked. So, we paid $23 for about 5 hours, then if we were to come back and park overnight it would have been another $26. To avoid that you can valet park for $32, and go in and out, but you would be tipping that would also add up. We found out parking on the street is free from 8p.m.-8a.m., so that is what we did and had not problem.

"Perfect Tourist and Business Traveler Location"
The best part about the Paramount is its location - walking distance to West Lake Station transit tunnel (very easy to get around Seattle), monorail to Seattle Center, Pike Place Market and massive amounts of shopping.  Slightly longer uphill walk to Capital Hill, but doable.  Hotel lobby is tiny, but greeted each morning with coffee and friendly concierge.  Room was clean and simply decorated,  though a little small. Vanity area and bathroom were also on the smaller side.  In room refrigerator, but no mini bar and no complimentary bottled water in the room.  I do not recommend restaurant for breakfast, which is only meal I ate there.  Plenty of other walking distance options, including Top Pot Doughnuts.  Yum.  Overall I was very satisfied with my stay there.

"Loved it!"
We just got back from a trip to Seattle to attend the opera. The Maxwell Hotel was the perfect spot. It was so conveniently located, close to the opera house and lots of nice restaurants and pubs all within walking distance. Not to mention an easy walk to Seattle Center for The Space Needle, Monorail and other attractions. The front desk staff were efficient, friendly and very helpful. I was really surprised to find our room ready for check in even though we arrived several hours before the scheduled check in time. The room was lovely and well appointed. And FREE Wi-Fi in the room...that was so cool. It always seems so cheap to me for a luxury hotel to charge you $10 a day to connect to their Wi-Fi network...not so at The Maxwell. Thanks! There were so many nice little touches, like the complimentary coffee and cupcakes each afternoon. And it was good coffee!! I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Seattle.

"Outstanding Experience"
There are not enough superlatives to describe our one night stay.  We got there long before check in to ask if we could store our bags while we saw the city.  The desk clerk greeted us with, "Well, your room is ready and we have up graded you to a suite."  The rooms were spacious corner rooms with lots of natural light....and two bathrooms!  The staff was helpful and polite and the bar had good happy hour snacks and small plate dinners for later in the evening.  Now let's talk about the location.  A half block walk took us to the monorail to the space needle.  A four block walk to Pike's Street Market.  We rode the light rail from Sea-Tac and only walked about 3 blocks to the hotel.  All in all one of the best hotel experiences ever!
