"Prefect Location, Great Place"
The room was as listed (how often does that happen). Well kept rooms, made you want to come inside. We checked in a the staff was great about the area info, sharing to help make our weekend wonderful. We needed to have our luggage kept for a couple of hours before our flight and they had it all taken care of. The area was so easy to walk around and find what we were looking for, a beautiful city.

"Couldn't ask for more! "
This is a great hotel, especially considering it's only $90/night! I was coming from Amtrak/Boston and was very sick. They let me check in a little early with no hassle. The staff is great, security is great, location is perfect for the willis tower and hop on/off tour stop. Despite being sick I very much enjoyed my stay.

"Great Location; weird rules"
The rooms are simple and clean. Yes, they are small, but do you go to Chicago to see the room, or do you go to see Chicago? The weird thing is that this hotel has weird rules. The only one that adversely impacted us was that they charge $38 for early check in. I have stayed in hotels all over the country, and all over in Chicago--this is a first for me. I had to spend $38 to get into a room I'd pre-paid? That was sort of irritating. The room seemed pretty beat up--there were gouges in the walls, no one had bothered to change the clocks at the end of daylight savings time, and the TV mount was crooked and would not stay straight. Pros, though: the coffeemaker had good coffee, there is free bottled water, and it's really close to Michigan, an El stop, and a 7-11. Cons are that the elevators are slow and always seem to be overcrowded, and the desk staff didn't really seem to care that we were spending money there. Overall, it was still a good value for the money (proximity, cost of the room, etc.) but I didn't really feel welcome.

"Nice room but noisy"
Our room was located next to the freight elevator and the soda machine, so it was a bit noisy. We could also hear a child out in the hallway as the family was leaving -- good thing I was already awake.

"The Perfect Stay at La Quinta Chicago."
This was the first time for me to choose La Quinta Chains of Inns and Suites in the US. Fortunately, the hotel offered me an exquisite and exceptional stay topped by a perfect location at the heart of Chicago. Located at South Franklin street which is moments away from the Madison Avenue, Sears Tower, the Chicago Board of Trade, Chicago Mercantile Exchange and just a 15 minute walk from Chicago's shopping district of Magnificent Mile, and attractions such as Lincoln Park, Chicago Opera House. Regarding the hotel, I would definitively recommend it to anyone thinking of passing by for a short or long visit. Unlike many hotels around the US who boast their star ratings of 4-5 stars, I firmly believe that La Quinta well deserves a 4 star rating for the following reasons. The staff is very friendly, well trained and enjoy doing their job. Breakfast in the morning was the best in town, starts early enough during the week days to accommodate business traveler's needs. There are good facilities in the hotel. The Gym is perfect if anyone needs to exercise right before hitting the streets. Also, the business center offers internet, printing services for its guests. In terms of breakfast, its one of La Quinta best pros. The Fresh bakes, muffins, juices and coffee are offered in generous quantities., La Quinta offers a myriad of options for its guests. WiFi in the Rooms make it convenient for keeping up to date around the clock. The rooms were perfectly spacious, spotlessly clean, bed mattresses very comfortable and coffee makers placed in rooms made my stay over all a succinct experience. Most Importantly, toilets were roomy and well furnished. The hotel exceeded my expectations and La Quinta succeeded in being my hotel of choice for my coming stays in the US.

"GREAT VIEW!!!"
Only thing that I had a problem with was trying to find the number to the front desk to call and tell them that we were checking out. All the number lists didn't have it and I tried to call 0 but after a long wait and no answer, we decided to go down to the front desk and tell them we were leaving.

"Loved it - so unique!!"
We had no issues what so ever. Loved this hotel! It was so fun and modern and not your usual hotel. Everyone that works there that we came into contact wtih was wonderful and happy and very helpful. The front desk gave us a few tips which was really nice of them. We didn't get a chance to try out the bar inside the hotel, but it was very lovely and cool looking. This hotel was worth it just for the photos alone! There was a surprise around ever corner. Make sure you visit the first floor above the lobby - there's a "game" room with a TV and chairs and tables. It was fun! And make sure you look out the window of your room - you just might spy something (or someone)! And the elevators were really neat! The walls were covered in music album covers and you could turn the music up and down, or change the song. And there are chalkboards on the outside of each room. Make sure you write something - and maybe check out a few other floors to see what other people ha written (Example: Don't knock unless you have booze!) Everything was clean and new.
